Each summer, the mountain town of Brezoi becomes the Blues Capital of Eastern Europe, hosting one of the most respected international live music events: Open Air Blues Festival Brezoi.

Set in the breathtaking Lotru Valley, at Live Music Summer Camp Brezoi, the festival brings together thousands of music lovers and artists from over 30 countries, blending world-class live music with nature and a truly international community spirit.

European Blues Challenge România 2026

The festival opens with European Blues Challenge Romania, the official national competition selecting Romania’s representative for the European Blues Challenge 2027.

An international jury of blues professionals, festival organizers, and journalists will judge the performances - but the audience energy always plays a key role.
